In signing this release for my participation in the Tour de Poudre, sponsored by and for the benefit of the International Society of Arboriculture - Rocky Mountain Chapter and the Colorado Tree Coalition, referred to as the SPONSORS hereafter, I do hereby release the SPONSORS and all supporters of this event , as well as their officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns, from all claims present or future, resulting from or arising out of my participation, hereby meaning to include all personal injuries, conscious suffering, death, and property damage resulting from or in any way connected with or arising out of this event and anything incidental thereto. I further agree to hold them free and harmless for any cost of defense, settlement, payment of damage, judgements and any other expenses related to my participation. I understand that the SPONSORS have advised all participants to ensure that they have adequate medical insurance to cover expenses incurred while participating in the Tour de Poudre. I also consent to and permit emergency medical treatment in the event of injury or illness sustained as a result of taking part in this event. I shall heed traffic laws and regulations, follow the safety advice of the ride leaders and experienced riders, practice courtesy and safety in cycling and help make the ride enjoyable for all. Since wearing an ANSI/Snell-approved helmet, considerably reduces head injury I agree to wear an ANSI/Snell - approved helmet at all times while riding in the Tour de Poudre. I agree, further, that this "Release" shall be interpreted under the laws of the State of Colorado and the State of Illinois, USA.
