2021 Arbor Day Poster Contest

The 2021 Arbor Day Poster Contest is here! This is an artistic competition open to public, private and home-schooled 5th graders across the state. The poster contest strives to increase an appreciation and awareness of the important role community trees play in the environment and in our quality of life.

The theme is: Celebrate Trees in Our Community

The basics:

  • One entry per school can be submitted into the State contest
  • Schools may hold their own competition internally to come up with a winner that can be submitted to the State contest
  • The winning student will be recognized at the Sate Capitol in Denver (pending COVID-19 regulations) and receive a $200 gift card!
  • All winning posters from each school will be on display at the State Capitol for one to two weeks in April

How to participate: 

  • Submissions are due by March 31, 2021
  • Mail your submission (one per school!) to the Colorado State Forest Service, 9769 W. 119th Drive, Suite 12, Broomfield, CO 80021
  • Contact us to make an appointment to deliver your submission to CSFS in person
